Around 80% of diesel engine failures are fuel related, so fitting a high performance diesel fuel filter water separator is a critical decision. Applications

For filtering fuels such as petrol & Diesel. Widely used as a means to pre-filter fuel.

What is it?

The Racor Fuel Filter Funnel is a new heavy duty, fast flow, filter-in-a-funnel that separates damaging free water & contaminates from gasoline, diesel, heating oil, & kerosene.

The new family of funnels are capable of removing free water and solids down to .005 inch and allows you to visually inspect the integrity of your fuel supply as you refuel.

Why use it?

Dirt and water are practically un-avoidable in stored fuel, causing microbial growth, corrosive acids, electrolysis and rust.  These contaminates can plug filters, corrode components, decrease efficiency and cause engine shut down or system failure.

You can combat these problems by refuelling with the Filter Funnel every time you transfer fuel from one container to another.

Racor Turbine Series diesel fuel filters

Racor’s ‘Turbine Series’ diesel fuel filter can be seen throughout the world installed on diesel engine generators and industrial engines in the toughest applications, dealing effectively with water and dirt contamination.

See-through collection bowls allow a water-in-fuel condition to be immediately visible. Replacement fuel filter elements can be replaced in a few seconds without the need to drain fuel.

This special tool is designed for universal fitment of the Racor spin on filter bowls.  Its design means it will fit all metal and see through bowls on the 100, 152, 200, 400 and 600 series spin on filters.

Why use Parker Racor fuel filters?

Fuel contamination, either in the form of dirt or water will find its way into your fuel system

however careful you are. With modern engines now injecting fuel at anything up to 2000 bar, and injector tolerances being measured in microns, it is hardly surprising that even a small amount of dirt or water corrosion can start a problem.

   * Install a compact spin-on filter/separator with an integral heater to maximize equipment uptime in cold weather operations.

   * Spin a filter/separator with a see-thru bowl and replaceable Aquabloc element directly on to an existing engine filter head.

   * Most models feature heads with multiple ports, so installation is quick and easy.

   * There are metal bowls for gasoline or severe operating conditions.

   * There's a choice of thermostatically-controlled heaters - coolant, electric resistance and PTC - to prevent fuel gelling and waxing. Some models allow for a combination of heaters to assist starting and keep engines running in cold climates.
